CROATIA: SPLIT AND TROGIR

We started the day by going to a viewpoint on Marjan Hill from where we enjoyed a beautiful view of Split. Then we went to the bus station walking along the promenade, called Riva. At the bus station we bought tickets for Trogir, a town near Split which is World Heritage. The bus left at 10:30am and arrived at 11:15. We were about 2 hours walking through the streets and squares of this fantastic and well preserved town with lovely corners.

We went back to Split for having lunch. In the afternoon we went up the bell tower of the cathedral and visited the Diocletian Palace, within which lies the old city of Split. In the evening, after having dinner at a restaurant in Sperun Square, we came back to walk through the streets of Diocletian's Palace to enjoy its nightlife.
