MYKONOS BEACHES

We spent this day enjoying the beaches of Mykonos (the previous day we have already enjoyed the beach of Agios Gioannis). We went to Platys Gialos beach first because you can get this beach easily by bus from Mykonos Town and since from this beach the Kaikus leave to the beaches of Paradise and Superparadise, the ones we had time to go to.

So we spent this day in the beaches:

  • Platys Gialos
  • Super Paradise beach
  • Paradise Beach

In Platys Gialos beach you can hardly find a place to lay your towel if you don't want a sun lounger

We took the boat shortly after a walk on the beach of Platys Gialos. It is nice but too small. We went first to Superparadise beach, although the boat made a previous stop in Paradise Beach. This beach is wide with clear water. After enjoying the sun we had lunch in a restaurant beside the beach.

After having lunch we took the first Kaiku to Paradise beach, where we spent just an hour. We saw the environment in Tropicana Bar and at 6 pm o'clock we took the bus back to Mykonos Town.

We had dinner at Nikos Tavern restaurant, where we had lunch our first day in Mykonos.

Mykonos Beaches are pristine but apart from Superparadise beach, for me are too small for the amount of sun loungers and people there. Depending on the beach and time in August it must be impossible to find a place to lay your towel.
