OUTLET EN BARCELONA

Recientemente han abierto un nuevo outlet en Viladecans, una población cercana a Barcelona y también al aeropuerto: Viladecans The Style Outlets. Es similar al de La Roca Village, con calles peatonales al aire libre con tiendas a cada lado.

 Entrada en el otro extremo del Outlet si se llega en tren o caminando desde Viladecans

Esta situado junto a la autopista C-32 y hay una salida junto a él, la 50 si se llega desde Barcelona. Además está a cinco minutos caminando de la estación de tren de Viladecans.

Personalmente me gusta mucho el poder pasear al aire libre y acceder a las tiendas que más me interesan, sobretodo en verano. Eso sí, para evitar el calor hay que ir a última hora de la tarde.

SHOPPING IN BARCELONA: FIRA DE SANTA LLUCIA

This fair announces the arrival of Christmas. Here is where the pessebres (nativity scenes), Christmas trees and Christmas decorations are sold. The biggest is held on Plaça Nova in front of the Barcelona cathedral's main façade and around the sides, where you can buy presents and handmade objects.

It takes place from 30th November to 23th December.

Avinguda Diagonal

Besides, from the top of Passeig de Gràcia, where it crosses Avinguda Diagonal (Plaça de Joan Carles I), to Plaça de la Reina Maria Cristina in this avenue, you will find another large shopping area where you will find department stores, shopping arcades, many designer fashion shops and shopping malls like L'Illa Diagonal, El Corte Inglés or Pedralbes Centre.

Carrer de Sants

If you prefer to visit another neighbourhood of Barcelona, it would be interesting walking through La Carretera de Sants and Badal. This area is plenty of shops where you can buy shoes and clothes. Besides, La Carretera de Sants begins in Plaça Espanya, next to Montjuïc, where Las Arenas Mall has recently opened its doors.

SHOPPING IN BARCELONA: LAS ARENAS MALL

After having talked about El Portal de l'Angel, one of the main shopping streets in Barcelona together with El Passeig de Gràcia and La Diagonal, today I would like to speak about a new shopping center in Barcelona: Las Arenas.

Located next to La Plaça de Espanya and near the Montjuïc Magic Fountain, it opened its doors on 25th march 2011. From that day, many people go to Las Arenas, which was a bullring, for shopping or to enjoy the views of Montjuïc from the dome.

However, as well as shopping, inside the six floors of Las Arenas you can go to the twelve-screen cinema, you can exercise in the fitness center, visit the Museum of Rock or have dinner in one of the many restaurants. If you prefer to eat near the city center, in a previous post I recommended some great restaurants.

I went to Las Arenas on 30th april and the next pictures show what I liked the most of this bullring converted into a shopping center.
