Today I would like to speak about two charming tea houses in Barcelona: Caj Chai, in the Gothic Quarter, and La Feniciana, near Barcelona Sants Station.
The first one is located next to Barcelona cathedral in the streets where the Jewish Quarter was located long time ago. This tea house is a fantastic place to rest for a while enjoying a delicious tea of its wide selection. Afterwards, you can keep walking along the charming streets of one of the most beautiful places in Barcelona: the Gothic Quarter.

The atmosphere of this tea house is really cozy and the traditional decoration is absolutely appropriate to the area of Barcelona where it's located.
Inside La Feniciana you can enjoy two atmospheres: the first one is an arab tea house where you can enjoy teas with delicious baklawas (rich, sweet pastry filled with chopped almonds, nuts or pistachio).
The second one, is a restaurant of lebanese cuisine. I really like the warm decoration of this restaurant where lamps, walls decoration, tables and sofas make you think as if you were in a restaurant of any arab city. Of course, the quality and the service is excellent.

I came upon Caj Chai while touring the Gothic Quarter and just loved this place. It is so inviting and a relaxing break, not to mention the best selection of teas to please a tea aficionado.
I also think Caj Chai is a lovely place, especially if you love tea.

First of all thanks for your comment. I have just read your post about Caj Chai tea shop in tourismwithme. I liked both your description of the teahouse and the photos of the teapot and the menu of teas.
