At 7am we boarded the Jadrolinija catamaran that would take us from Pula to Zadar. Each ticket cost 200 Kuna. You can buy the ticket at the travel agency Commodore (it closes at 20pm) or the morning of the trip from 6am.
We arrived at Zadar at 12h45 after stopping in Susak and Mali Losinj. We headed to the bus station in Zadar (25min walk from where the catamaran left us) to buy two bus tickets to Plitvice Lakes National Park for the next day.

After having lunch at the apartment we visited Zadar in the afternoon. We bought the food in a supermarket beside the bus station. The most beautiful part of Zadar is the Roman Forum and the surrounding streets. I also liked the promenade, which ends in the Greeting to the Sun and the organ Marino.
The most interesting places I visited in Zadar were:
- Sain Mary Monastery
- Saint Donat church
- Roman Forum and old town
- Saint Anastasia Cathedral
